Your Visit​​​​

Before Your Visit

Please contact our clinic to verify that Cardiology Consultants of Texas accepts your health insurance before your visit.  This will assure that your paperwork will go smoothly since patients' plans change over time.  Please have your insurance care on hand when you contact us so we can verify your coverage.

On the Day of Y​our Visit

On your first visit, the cardiologist will want to get a thorough personal history from you, and most likely will want to conduct a physical examination.  Depending on the findings of the tests and history, the doctor will want to go over various additional testing and treatment plan options.

Specific information on tests and treatment plans can be found in the front of your patient information and education booklet or from your physician.  

What to Bring and How to Dress

  • Bring all your prescription medications in their current containers​​
  • Continue your medications as usual unless instructed otherwise by your physician or Cardiology Consultants of Texas
  • Refrain from eating for at least two hours before your visit; the preceding meal should be light, without coffee, tea, or alcohol
  • Wear or bring appropriate clothing, such as comfortable, loose-fitting shorts, slacks or jogging attire; please do not wear one-piece outfits or panty hose; you may be asked to remove your shirt or change into a patient gown, bring or wear comfortable shoes designed for walking
  • Plan to be in our office for one to two hours
  • Bring insurance forms/identification cards 

Billing​

Usual and Customary Rate (UCR)

CCT is committed to providing the best possible treatment, and we charge what is usual and customary for our area.  You are responsible for paying the bill in full, regardless of the insurance company's determination of usual and customary rates.  Exception: contractual agreements.

Self-Pay

CCT does not accept self-pay at this time. 

Billing and Collecting

You may call the billing office for billing questions.  Our patient Account Representatives may use voice mail because of the large volume of calls.  If you do not reach a representative directly, please leave your name, the patient's name, and a phone number where you may be reached.  Your call will be returned within 24 hours.

Monday - Thursday

8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Closed on Friday

To better serve our lab patients, you must have a lab appointment to be seen.
