Dr. John W. Hyland, Clinical and Nuclear Cardiologist
While Dr. John Hyland joined the Cardiology Consultants Of Texas group of physicians in 1996, he has been board-certified in cardiovascular disease since 1966. He was certified in internal medicine in 1962 and recertified in 1977. He was licensed in nuclear cardiology in 1992. Dr. Hyland offices at CCT's Dallas clinic at the Baylor University Medical Center.

Dr. Hyland has held several positions at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He has served as the Chairman of the Cardiopulmonary Transplant Selection Committee, Chief of the Division of Cardiology, Director of the H. L. and Ruth Hunt Heart Center, Assistant Chief of Internal Medicine and Medical Director of the Coronary Care Unit. Dr. Hyland was also a founder and member of Heart Place until 1996. Dr. Hyland has a special interest in nuclear cardiology.
