Dr. Shyla Thomas High, Clinical Cardiologist and Echocardiography 

Dr. High joined Cardiology Consultants of Texas in 1998. She is board certified in cardiovascular disease, by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Her primary focus is heart disease in women and non-invasive testing. Dr. High was been named a “Texas Super Doctor” by Texas Monthly magazine.  Dr. High offices at CCT's Greenville clinic.  

She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from The University of Texas, Austin and attended medical school at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. She served her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas where she went on to complete a fellowship in Cardiology.

Dr. High is recognized as a Fellow of American College of Cardiology and is an active member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and Dallas County Medical Society. 

Dr. High was named a Super Doctor for 2010 by Texas Monthly Magazine
